Music Lessons
Private instruction is the backbone of a solid music education. Bridge Arts will pair you with the best teacher for obtaining your musical goals. Weekly lessons may be online or face to face depending on both the instructor and the students needs and comfort. Please fill out our inquiry form so that we can make a recommendation and send details regarding studio policies and rates.

This ensemble consists of musicians looking to rehearse and perform great big band repertoire including music by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thad Jones and more. Musicians age range from 12-77.

Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra

Join the region's premiere youth jazz orchestra. Open to students in grades 8-12 or 18 years of age or younger by audition. HVYJO performs collegiate/professional level music and gives students and opportunity to work alongside each other, as well as top-tier guest artists.

Bridge Arts
Jazz Lab
The jazz lab is designed for middle school or high school students looking to develop their jazz skills. Students will work on jazz style, improvisation, and tunes.
​
Open to: Students in middle or high school that play traditional jazz instruments including saxophone, trumpet, trombones, guitar, piano, bass, drumset as well as non-traditional jazz instruments like flute, clarinet, French horn, tuba, etc.
​
Prerequisites: Students should be able to play at least 3 scales very comfortably and have played their instrument for at least 2 years.
​
Classes: Meets 2 Sundays a month from 3:00 pm -4:30 pm.
