Summer Music Academy
Registration is Now Open
Bridge Arts & Education invites young musicians to join us this summer for a week of inspiring music-making on the beautiful campus of The Mount Academy overlooking the Hudson River.
Students will participate in small ensembles, chamber music or jazz combos, masterclasses with professional musicians, and engaging electives including improvisation, songwriting, African drumming, music theory, and more.
Designed for motivated middle and high school musicians, the Summer Music Academy provides a supportive and high-level musical experience with outstanding faculty and small student-to-teacher ratios.

Join Bridge Arts & Education for an afternoon of live jazz at the legendary Falcon in Marlboro, NY featuring performances by the Bridge Arts Community Jazz Band, Jazz Lab, and the Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra.
Enjoy an exciting program of classic big band music, contemporary jazz, and student showcases performed by musicians from across the Hudson Valley community.
Admission is free with reservation, and seating is limited. We expect this event to sell out, so reserve your table early.

Private instruction is the backbone of a solid music education. Bridge Arts will pair you with the best teacher for obtaining your musical goals. Weekly lessons may be online or face to face depending on both the instructor and the students needs and comfort. This ensemble consists of musicians looking to rehearse and perform great big band repertoire including music by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thad Jones and more. Musicians age range from 12-77.
We are always looking for musicians to join our roster as a sub or permanent member!

Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra
Video Submissions Are Now Open for the 2026–2027 Season
The Hudson Valley Youth Jazz Orchestra is now accepting video submissions for the upcoming season. Directed by Dan Shaut, HVYJO brings together advanced student musicians from across the Hudson Valley for high-level ensemble training, exciting performances, and collaborations with professional guest artists.
Students in grades 8–12 will rehearse and perform challenging big band repertoire while developing improvisation, musicianship, leadership, and ensemble skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Performances include regional concerts, community events, and special appearances at venues throughout the Hudson Valley.
Open to Students in Grades 8–12
Full and partial scholarships are available, and no student will be turned away due to financial need.

Paul Duffy Benefit Concert
Community Jazz Band

The Bridge Arts Community Jazz Band presents a special Benefit Concert in support of pianist Paul Duffy as he rebuilds after the loss of his home to a fire. Join us for an evening of live jazz.
Admission is pay what you wish, and all donations directly support Paul.

Jazz Lab
The jazz lab is designed for middle school or high school students looking to develop their jazz skills. Students will work on jazz style, improvisation, and tunes.
Open to: Students in middle or high school that play traditional jazz instruments including saxophone, trumpet, trombones, guitar, piano, bass, drumset as well as non-traditional jazz instruments like flute, clarinet, French horn, tuba, etc.
Prerequisites: Students should be able to play at least 3 scales very comfortably and have played their instrument for at least 2 years.
Classes: Meets 2 Sundays a month from 3:00 pm -4:30 pm.

Hudson Valley Saxophone Orchestra (HVSO) is a regional ensemble dedicated to performing traditional and contemporary repertoire for large saxophone ensemble, celebrating the versatility and expressive power of the saxophone through high-level performance and collaboration.
