Tristen Napoli
Music Director, Jazz Lab
Tristen Napoli is a professional jazz trumpeter and educator based in Kingston, NY. Tristen holds degrees from SUNY Purchase (BM in Jazz Performance) and Crane School of Music (MM in Music Education.) A Kingston High School alumnus, he’s performed nationally with the Artie Shaw Orchestra and Toshiko Akiyoshi Jazz Orchestra, toured the US, and recorded his debut album with the Napoli Shaut Sextet. He's graced iconic New York jazz clubs such as Birdland, Smoke, and Smalls, and was selected for the prestigious All‑American Jazz Orchestra. Beyond performance, Tristen leads Bridge Arts & Education’s Jazz Lab, mentoring young musicians in improvisation and jazz ensemble work. He balances a vibrant career of touring, recording, and teaching—making meaningful contributions to jazz both on stage and in education.
