Charles Gray is a saxophonist, music educator, and founder of the Hudson Valley Saxophone Orchestra (HVSO), a professional ensemble of saxophonists and educators from the Hudson Valley region. Inspired by large saxophone ensembles such as those championed by 20th-century pioneer Sigurd Raschèr, Gray established HVSO in 2012 to bring rich, orchestral saxophone music to local audiences and to support community music initiatives. The group's blending technical skill with expressive musicality.
